Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 ounce thinly sliced prosciutto
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 10 ounces frozen peas
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon granule
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 dash black pepper
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts or 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 cut prosciutto into thin strips.
- 2 in a medium saucepan cook onion in hot oil until tender.
- 3 stir in peas, water, bouillon and dried oregano. season to taste with black pepper.
- 4 simmer, covered, for 4-5 minutes or until peas are just tender.
- 5 stir in pine nuts.
