Spareribs In Black Bean Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 lbs spareribs (cut up)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons black beans (soaked in water 2 mins. drain and mash lightly)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons shoyu
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • green onion
  • cilantro

Recipe

  • 1 parboil spareribs. rinse and drain well.
  • 2 dredge in flour lightly.
  • 3 heat oil in heavy pan.
  • 4 stir fry black bean mixture. add spareribs and brown.
  • 5 add seasoning while browning spareribs.
  • 6 add broth. bring to boil. cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
  • 7 thicken with cornstarch mixture.
  • 8 garnish.
