Teriyaki Chicken

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 broiler-fryer chicken, 2-3 lbs
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 teaspoon msg (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 slice fresh ginger, minced

Recipe

  • 1 cut up chicken into serving pieces. combine all other ingredients and marinate chicken for 4-5 hours or overnight. broil chicken, basting 2 times on each side and turning once. variation: 1 teaspoons grated orange peel can be added or used instead of ginger.
