Spanish Turkey Meatballs

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 lb bacon, minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 carrot, grated

Recipe

  • 1 mix ground turkey with bacon, parsley, and oregano.
  • 2 add onion and garlic; add soy sauce.
  • 3 make into little meat balls; roll them flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • 4 fry meatballs until browned in olive oil.(i just dumped balls into sauce and baked 425 for 35 minutes it was kinda watery so dont add extra water i also used can of tomatoes ).
  • 5 add water, chicken bouillon cube, wine, tomatoes, onion, garlic and carrot.
  • 6 cook until thickened; you can do this in the oven when it is cooler.
