Spicy Oriental Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot chinese chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons chicken stock or 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 dash salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken into a 1-2 inch size and season with salt and pepper. place the chicken in a bowl and evenly coat with flour.
  • 2 slice green peppers and onion into strips.
  • 3 combine sugar, soy sauce, chili paste and chicken stock or water in a small bowl.
  • 4 heat a saute pan with olive oil. place chicken and brown both sides. add green pepper and onion strips, put a lid and cook until chicken is heated through and the onion and pepper strips become tender.
  • 5 add the seasoning mixture and cook until heated through.
  • 6 serve immediately.
