Thee Best Stuffing

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1 small onion, thinly diced
  • 2 cups celery, sliced thinly
  • 2 loaves bread
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 tablespoons sage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 slowly melt butter in a sauce pan and add the onion and celery.cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes or until they turn soft not brown.
  • 2 meanwhile as that cooks -- cube your loaves of bread into 1/2 inch pieces and throw into a big bowl.
  • 3 when celery and onions are done,pour mixture into the bread cubes.mix all together.
  • 4 start adding 1 cup of chicken broth,mix well.
  • 5 next add all your seasonings,mix and then add remaining chicken broth.
  • 6 mix all together and pour it into a greased casserole dish. bake in the oven at 375 celcius for about 30-40 minutes.
