Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 lb softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 3/4 teaspoon mrs. dash seasoning mix
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 discard all of the fat and connecting tissue on the chicken breasts.
  • 2 pound them to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
  • 3 set aside.
  • 4 mix the parsley, oregano, mrs.
  • 5 dash together.
  • 6 whip the butter and then add the herbs.
  • 7 take the chicken and lay them flat.
  • 8 spread half of the butter mixture evenly between the four chicken breasts.
  • 9 top the butter with cheese divided between all chicken.
  • 10 roll the chicken breasts tightly around the cheese and butter.
  • 11 place the chicken rolls into the oil and cook until lightly browned,about five minutes.
  • 12 transfer them to a baking dish.
  • 13 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 14 melt the remaining butter and pour over the chicken rolls.
  • 15 place in the oven and and bake about fifteen minutes.
  • 16 basting them with the melted butter occasionaly.
  • 17 pour the pan drippings over them when you serve.
