Tuscan Chicken With Sage

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh sage leaf
- 2 cups chianti wine
- 3 lbs chicken thighs (bone in)
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet, heat oil over medium. add onions and cook, stirring, until softened.
- 2 add garlic, salt, pepper and sage. cook for 1 minute.
- 3 add wine and bring to a boil. cook, stirring, until sauce is reduced by 1/3, about 5 minutes.
- 4 arrange chicken over bottom of slow cooker and cover with sauce. cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
