Tuscan Chicken With Sage

Total Time: 6 hrs Preparation Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup fresh sage leaf
  • 2 cups chianti wine
  • 3 lbs chicken thighs (bone in)

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, heat oil over medium. add onions and cook, stirring, until softened.
  • 2 add garlic, salt, pepper and sage. cook for 1 minute.
  • 3 add wine and bring to a boil. cook, stirring, until sauce is reduced by 1/3, about 5 minutes.
  • 4 arrange chicken over bottom of slow cooker and cover with sauce. cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
