Spanish Rice

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Recipe

  • 1 brown the rice and onion in oil, until onion is soft and rice is starting to turn golden over medium heat.
  • 2 (if possible, do not use a non-stick pan) add water, tomato sauce, parsley, bouillon cubes and salt.
  • 3 bring to a boil.
  • 4 cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
