Roasted Garlic

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 heads garlic
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place heads of garlic in a small shallow baking pan.
  • 2 pour the chicken broth over the garlic.
  • 3 sprinkle with the thyme and rosemary, and season with the s & p.
  • 4 cover tightly with foil and bake at 400f for 1 hour.
  • 5 cool until they can be handled safely, and squeeze the garlic out of the 'paper' husk.
  • 6 serve hot or cold.
