Rainbow's Shoyu Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 12 lbs chicken thighs
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 3/4-1 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 dashes worcestershire sauce
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 -5 inches fresh ginger, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 wash and drain chicken.
  • 2 combine sauce ingredients.
  • 3 combine chicken and sauce in a pot. bring to a boil and cook until chicken is tender, 20-30 minutes. skim sauce. thicken with flour or cornstarch. bring to a boil again and serve.
