Spaghetti With Garlic, Hot Pepper And Parsley

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 3/4 lb spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed hot pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
  • 2 tablespoons grated romano cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cook spaghetti and drain.
  • 2 heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet along with the garlic, hot pepper flakes and salt.
  • 3 when the garlic just starts to change color add the chicken broth.
  • 4 cook the broth for about 5 minutes, or until it is reduced by half.
  • 5 stir in the cooked spaghetti, parsley and cheese.
  • 6 toss the spaghetti until thoroughly coated.
  • 7 serve hot or cold.
