Spaghetti With Garlic, Hot Pepper And Parsley

Ingredients

- 3/4 lb spaghetti
- 1/2 cup virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed hot pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
- 2 tablespoons grated romano cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook spaghetti and drain.
- 2 heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet along with the garlic, hot pepper flakes and salt.
- 3 when the garlic just starts to change color add the chicken broth.
- 4 cook the broth for about 5 minutes, or until it is reduced by half.
- 5 stir in the cooked spaghetti, parsley and cheese.
- 6 toss the spaghetti until thoroughly coated.
- 7 serve hot or cold.
