Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup firm packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup a.1. original sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon, rind of
Recipe
- 1 in a small saucepan blend apple juice and brown sugar.
- 2 stir in steak sauce,lemon juice,cornstarch and lemon peel.
- 3 heat to a boil,stirring constantly.
- 4 boil 1 minute,remove from heat and cool slightly.
- 5 use as a basting sauce for chicken,lamb or ham.
