Tangy Lemon Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup firm packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup a.1. original sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon, rind of

Recipe

  • 1 in a small saucepan blend apple juice and brown sugar.
  • 2 stir in steak sauce,lemon juice,cornstarch and lemon peel.
  • 3 heat to a boil,stirring constantly.
  • 4 boil 1 minute,remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • 5 use as a basting sauce for chicken,lamb or ham.
