- 1/2 lb taro root (starchy yam with a rough, brown skin, not the sweet, orange-colored type)
- 1 1/4 lbs chicken
- 2 tablespoons ginger
- 1/2 cup scallion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 dash sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cooking wine
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon oil
Recipe
- 1 cut taro, chicken, and scallion into pieces (approx. 1").
- 2 coat chicken evenly with (a) and let sit for 25 minutes.
- 3 put everything on a plate and steam for 20 minutes at high heat.
