Tammy's Moo Goo Gai Pan

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 whole chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 (7 ounce) package frozen peas
  • 1 cup mushroom, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
  • cooked rice

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.
  • 2 sprinkle with salt.
  • 3 stir fry chickn in oil in skillet over medium heat until tender.
  • 4 remove from chicken from skillet.
  • 5 add onions, peas and mushrooms to skillet and stir fry for 1 minute.
  • 6 dissolve cornstarch in a little broth.
  • 7 stir in remainder of broth.
  • 8 stir in cornstarch mixture.
  • 9 simmer until thickened.
  • 10 add almonds and chicken.
  • 11 heat.
  • 12 serve over rice.
