Tammy's Moo Goo Gai Pan

Ingredients

- 2 whole chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 (7 ounce) package frozen peas
- 1 cup mushroom, sliced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
- cooked rice
Recipe
- 1 cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.
- 2 sprinkle with salt.
- 3 stir fry chickn in oil in skillet over medium heat until tender.
- 4 remove from chicken from skillet.
- 5 add onions, peas and mushrooms to skillet and stir fry for 1 minute.
- 6 dissolve cornstarch in a little broth.
- 7 stir in remainder of broth.
- 8 stir in cornstarch mixture.
- 9 simmer until thickened.
- 10 add almonds and chicken.
- 11 heat.
- 12 serve over rice.
