Turkey Gravy

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • roast turkey drippings
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth or 2 cups water
  • salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 after turkey has been roast, pour juices from turkey into a large measuring cup.
  • 2 skim off all fat, reserving a ¼ cup of it.
  • 3 discard rest of fat.
  • 4 pour fat into a medium sized saucepan.
  • 5 stir in ¼ cup flour.
  • 6 in measuring cup, add enough water or chicken broth to equal 2 cups.
  • 7 turn stovetop to medium heat and slowly pour in juices/water or chicken broth mixture.
  • 8 stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
  • 9 salt& pepper to taste.
  • 10 enjoy!
