Slow Cooker Black Chicken

Total Time: 18 hrs Preparation Time: 12 hrs Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup

Recipe

  • 1 the evening before, place chicken in slow cooker.
  • 2 mix together brown sugar, dry mustard, garlic, and salt & pepper. sprinkle this mixture over the chicken and refrigerate over night.
  • 3 in the morning mix together the soy sauce and corn syrup and pour over the chicken.
  • 4 cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
