Stuffed Cheddar Chicken

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 -2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 3 ounces cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • fresh cilantro

Recipe

  • 1 brush or spray grill rack with oil.
  • 2 heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
  • 3 flatten each chicken breast to 1/4" thickness.
  • 4 between plastic wrap or waxed paper.
  • 5 sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic.
  • 6 cut cheese into 4 slices.
  • 7 place 1 slice in center of each breasts.
  • 8 roll chicken around cheese, folding in sides.

  • 11 serve chicken with sour cream and salsa.
  • 12 sprinkle with cilantro.
